Rezenerate FAQ

Is Rezenerate the same as Micro-Needling?

  • No, Rezenerate is its own modality. Micro-needling is more invasive since it uses steel acupuncture needles in a cluster to repeatedly pierce the skin, and can be uncomfortable. The Rezenerate treatment does not pierce the skin, and uses Nano Pyramids instead of needles.

What is the Rezenerate tip made out of?

  • The Rezenerate ‘True Blue’ Tip is made from mono-crystalline silicon that is etched into an array of pyramid shaped Nano-structures. The base of each of the pyramids on the array has a diameter of less than 1/3 that of a single strand of human hair and the tip has a diameter of 1/10,000th of a human hair. Thereby being the only system on the market meeting the scientific threshold required to be considered nanotechnology.

Does Rezenerate hurt?

Can I get a Rezenerate Treatment if I am pregnant?

  • We always recommend asking your physician before booking an appointment with us to confirm what they think is appropriate for you. But, we are able to modify most of our services to be able to accommodate pregnant women.

Will my skin be red after the Rezenerate treatment?

  • The skin may be a little pink and feel tight after treatment, but there is no downtime at all.

Are there any post facial instructions that I need to follow?

No retinol, Retin-A, tretinoin, acids or any other aggressive skin care products and exfoliation for 3-5 days before and after your treatment. And, as always, wear SPF and do not tan your skin.
